The HEAT team performed a pilot project for the Flemish Environment Agency in 2019 throughout the Flanders region - collecting nearly 200,000 emissions measurements from individual vehicles on the roadway. Additionally, a successful Anti-tampering Campaign with the local police took place during this time period that improved the fraud detection rate from 9% to over 83% using EDAR. More about this campaign is available on the Belgium page on our website.
Today, the findings report was released by the Flemish Government to the public. The report is available for download on the Environment Agency's website. The campaign and EDAR received significant positive attention and feedback from the media.
